Festivals Motorhomes hire in Sussex

Only 1 hour from London, Sussex is the ideal place to escape and find the magnificence of the South Downs National Park, emotional coastlines and dynamic culture on offer.

It's anything but difficult to loosen up in the midst of West Sussex's tall tale châteaux, heavenly stately homes and moving downs. Meet William the Conqueror and Dukes of Norfolk on stronghold bulwarks or blend with the motoring and dashing group at nation house homes. On the off chance that you are searching for activities in West Sussex, think champagne, strawberries and extraordinary millinery. Get dynamic on the South Downs bridleways and strolling trails that slice through picturesque waterway valleys and old forests. Cyclists get right of way and lungs load with crisp English-Channel air on bicycle ways between quintessentially English seaside towns like Worthing and Shoreham.

Brighton is one of the top spots in Sussex which would make the perfect pit stop whilst you are in Sussex on your motorhome hire, we have campsites nearby. Colourful Brighton is a cultural cornucopia of creativity, with more than its fair share of festivals, museums, galleries and legendary nightlight.

Start at Brighton’s ode to hedonism, the Royal Pavilion. Once George IV’s regal bachelor pad, this exotic palace’s audio tour will have you gasping and gawping from beginning to end.

Next, buckle up for old-school thrills on the waltzers and looping rollercoasters towering over the glittering Brighton Pier. Best save the fish and chips on the beach until afterwards, then head out to the clubs, theatres, and bars that help make Brighton one of the most cultural cities in Europe.

Finish your weekend browsing the jewellers, vintage shops and boutiques of The Lanes and sipping cocktails the chic bars.

Festivals Recommended by Festival Motorhomes hire

Elderflower Fields

Elderflower Fields is perfectly catered for children. In 2017 all the activities were fun, well considered and just right for young kids (from around 4 upwards). The variety of activities on offer really was brilliant; we made giant bubbles, found fairy doors, listen to stories, created science experiments, danced to music, relaxed in hammocks, rode down the hill on skateboards, learnt to cook on a campfire and made mud pies. There were three stages scattered throughout the site for music and story telling.

England Medieval Festival

English Medieval Festival at Herstmonceux Castle near to Hastings in East Sussex. A weekend of rustic camping and outdoor medieval-themed activities, and all set in the grounds of an amazing castle. You can wander along a market street with stalls selling clothing, jewellery, books, beautiful handmade fairies and all manner of medieval-inspired goods and make your way towards the front of the Castle where crowds gather to watch the reenactment. Loud beat of drums fill the air and anticipation rises as a procession of soldiers file past and gather in front of the castle.

Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Festival of Speed is the largest motoring garden party in the world ? a unique summer weekend that brings together an impossibly heady mix of cars, stars and motorsport ?royalty? to create the largest car culture event in the world.
